The Trade Training Institute, operating under the Department of Trade, Ministry of Commerce, with (86) participants from International Trade Basic Course (Weekend Programme) Batch-13, which began on March(7)2026 and opened on March(21)2026 ; total of (90) people has been go to trip on April 2, 2026 (Thursday). We visited Thilawa Special Economic Zone , Myanmar International Terminals Thilawa and Wilmar Myanmar Limited.

We arrived at the Thilawa Special Economic Zone at 09:30 in the morning . After Daw Cho Cho Win, Vice Chairwoman of the Thilawa Special Economic Zone, gave a detailed explanation about the Special Economic Zone Management Committee, what the trainees wanted to know was clearly answered.

Myanmar International Terminals Thilawa (MITT) toured and observed, and Manager U Aung Thu details explained and answered the questions of the trainees, those in charge clearly answered what the trainees wanted to know.

Next, at 13:00, they arrived at Wilmar Myanmar Limited. They were welcomed by officials. Assistant General Manager Daw Yu Mon Twe explained the business in detail. After the officials explained and answered the questions of the trainees, they toured the rice mill and edible oil factory in Wilmar Myanmar Limited and returned to the headquarters at 16:00 in the evening.
